Welcome To Geomatics
The Department was established by the Decision of the Universty Senate in 2018. Two years after
it had employed eight Academic staff and admitted students into its undergraduate programme. In line
with the University's mission, the Department aspire to produce knowledge, skills and smart professionals
that will help solve world's most difficult problems which require knowledge of position and location-based
information. We will work at producing Professionals that will create enterprises and be in engaged in
quality geospatial researches.
Rebecca Mtaku Gali PhD
I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Professor in Chemical Pathology. I am a lecturer and a researcher in Implementation Science University of Maiduguri. Producing accurate results that help in timely intervention and improve patient care, is my goal when I work on bench as a Laboratory Scientist. Discoveries during research, screenings and relating to those concern to find help or solution is the great fulfilment in life for me.
