Welcome To Biotechnology
The University of Maiduguri North-East Zonal Biotechnology Centre of Excellence was established in 2003 to develop the field of Biotechnology and related research activities for the socio-economic development of the region using the vast bio-resources available is the sub-region. Currently the Centre has two equipped functional laboratories. These are: Molecular Biology Laboratory and Plat Tissue Culture Laboratory .The two laboratories are serving the North-East in particular and Nigeria in general in Biotechnology related researches.

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Professor in Chemical Pathology. I am a lecturer and a researcher in Implementation Science University of Maiduguri. Producing accurate results that help in timely intervention and improve patient care, is my goal when I work on bench as a Laboratory Scientist. Discoveries during research, screenings and relating to those concern to find help or solution is the great fulfilment in life for me.
